Our Business Principles have been formulated to reflect the principles of the United Nations Global Compact as well as the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. They were originally published in 2003 and updated in 2012 following a consultation process that has included employee representatives and shareholders.

Application

The Business Principles apply to all Alfa Laval companies throughout the world irrespective of the brand name under which they trade. Where our companies participate in joint ventures and business partnerships the application of these principles will be actively promoted. An independent internal audit function provides support in monitoring compliance with the Business Principles.
